05 Fossil Fish

A friend mentioned an interest in finding a rock with a fossil fish inside to add to a collection of fishy ornaments.

This gave me the idea to make a replica using a small black marble pebble from my garden collection. The size of the piece is 15cm x 15cm and the underside surface of the piece is the natural pebble as found. A gift to an inspirational friend.

The stylized fossil fish is carved in relief and tail protrudes through the side of the pebble, this is just visible in picture 3 below:
