03 Black Stand
Because most of my sculptures are made from large river pebbles, the first stage is always to cut off the bottom of the pebble to form a base.
Black Stand is simply the off-cut from forming the base for my sculpture 'Bastet'.
Two steel pins [cut and polished 6" nail] were inserted into the 'pebble' side to make the upper polished surface level.
A purely decorative item which is currently used to display a selection of interesting rock fragments.
